Across many Nations on Turtle Island, Two-Spirited people have long been recognized as sacred — carrying both masculine and feminine energies in balance. They were often healers, visionaries, warriors, and caretakers of children and ceremony. Their roles were deeply respected, and they were considered essential to the well being of the community.

With the arrival of European colonization, these sacred identities were suppressed through residential schools, religious indoctrination, and cultural erasure. But despite these devastating impacts, Two-Spirited people are still here — reclaiming space, ceremony, and identity on a powerful journey of healing, remembrance, and pride.

This ring, Honour the Two-Spirited, was created to uplift and recognize that journey. It features a rainbow to represent the spectrum of identity and spirit; an eagle symbolizing strength, leadership, and unity; a butterfly to represent transformation and emergence; flowers as symbols of connection to Mother Earth; and a human figure, standing proud in their full truth.

The original was hand-carved in silver and cast in .925 sterling silver using the lost wax casting method. This adjustable wrap ring fits sizes 5 to 10.5, and the interior is engraved with the inscription “Two-Spirit Medicine”, along with the year of creation (2020), the .925 hallmark, and artist’s initials.

This piece is more than jewelry — it is a statement of reverence, remembrance, and respect. A tribute to those who walk between worlds with courage and grace.
